Cleaning Your Level Gloves
When possible, wipe gloves clean with a damp cloth, then allow to dry.
In case gloves need to be washed we suggest washing them with a mild soap and lukewarm water ((30°C | 86°F).
No softener should be used for gloves including a membrane in order to prevent any functional damage.
Squeeze out all excess water from the fingers toward the cuff and pull gently into shape.
The gloves should dry slowly by air, away from direct sunlight or heat.
Do not tumble dry or dry the gloves on a heater. This can cause cuts and other damages to the leather parts.
Gloves dry best in an upright position.
Do not turn lined gloves inside out. The liner, insulation and membrane can be very difficult to put back into place.
Gloves with removable lining dry faster when the liners are removed and these liners are easy to wash too.
After drying, we suggest to treat leather parts with our "Level leather balm" to enhance the durability of the leather and maintain its smoothness.
We do not recommend washing leather gloves frequently. If you do wash them, wash with soap and lukewarm water.
Squeeze out the water gently without twisting.
For cleaning leather gloves milk, to which a little ammonia can be added, is an extremely mild detergent.
